I felt as though this man, now past the bonds of earth, had always known what was in my heart and soul, because he sang about everything I felt.
He knew when my happiness ended, and when my sadness began.
It seems that every now and then, someone comes along in our lifetime; making the world a better place. And it never crosses our minds that one day they would no longer be here...

I never imagined that I would be burdened with this empty feeling, in realizing he is gone. And I believe June 25, 2009 - is 'The Day The Music Died'...
I will never be a part of another story that comes from his heart - in that beautiful music; but I will always find myself there in every song he ever sang.
And he will always be a part of me and all of my yesterdays...
What more can anyone ask for when they die than to leave behind such a legacy as he has?
